Sandy Naing currently facilitates a Write Around Portland workshop at the Oregon Burn Center. She believes in her core that writing and sharing stories is a powerful path to connection and community. For the past 15 years, Sandy has worked with organizations that address issues impacting refugee and immigrant populations, K-12 education, and civil rights. In her own writing, she often explores the ideas of belonging, migration, and privilege through fiction and essays.
