Virtual Readings

At Write Around Portland readings, we bring participants from all of our workshops together with the general public – in January 2009, we had almost 300 people in attendance. There is an unmistakable spirit of support, compassion and respect at each of these events.

We realize not everyone is able to attend our readings in person. We may not be able to bring you a packed room echoing with applause, an audiences’ awe at the powerful writing, or the feeling of true community found when such a diverse group of writers shares the podium. But, we can bring you some wonderful stories, read in writers’ own voices with our NEW virtual readings!

You can watch videos and listen to our writers' radio appearances. Click below for "virtual readings" to hear participants share their writing and their experiences with Write Around Portland.
